  1. Thanks for the post. I wish I could find Taurasi more often. Mastroberardino’s 1999 Taurasi last year showed brilliant vivacity, red apple peal, and adequate fruit, backed by moody tobacco ash. Cracking tannins begging for food. Insane length. I love this stuff.

    1. Thanks for the nice comment. Taurasi is great and based on what I tasted a few weeks ago from a dozen or so producers, it’s as good as ever. I do think we may see a dramatic move towards Taurasi on wine lists in America. I certainly hope so.
