I concur with your comments the wines of Poggio Antico are quite excellent.  I also agree that the kitchen of Michele, Ana and Mario at Il Giglio is superb.  My wife and I were married in Montalcino in 2007 and visited again in October 2011.  We stayed at Il Giglio for a week prior to our wedding at Castella Di Velona.   After eating at Il Giglio a few times we asked Ana to prepare a meal to celebrate our civil marriage with our immediate family.  That meal overlooking the hills of Tuscany, was unforgettable.  I urge anyone visiting the area to seek out this restaurant.
