You sold me on the Vietti Scarrone Vigne Vecchia. One of my favorite wines in the world is an old vine barbera (Vinchio-Vaglio Serra “Insynthesis.” I’m eager to see how this compares.

Thanks, Kyle. I was sitting next to Nick Belfrage last year in Florence when we tasted this wine together and we both looked at each other with a big smile on our faces. It’s a beautiful wine!

I’ve read part one of your article. thanks for sharing this list. I’ll try some of these brands. I tasted “2009 Felsina Chianti Classico” and really loved it.
