Thanks for the comment- the wines you mention that you liked are all first-rate. The Poggio Antico has changed over the years as you note, but the normale bottling is still well balanced with nicely integrated wood and plenty of fruit. 


The main thing is that more and more producers are crafting their Brunellos in a traditional style, avoiding over ripe fruit and too much new oak; they are to be applauded for this decision.]]></description>
